Have you ever heard of disc golf? For those of you who don't know, disc golf is a sport that is played with the same idea as regular golf. Instead of balls we use discs similar to frisbees and instead of a hole there is a chain link basket. Courses are either 9 or 18 holes and we play in all kinds of conditions - in the woods, in wide open fields, near water hazards, and in most weather conditions. I have been playing for 4 years and about a year and a half ago I started competing in tournaments throughout Louisiana and Alabama. Like any sport it can be very challenging, but I also find it very relaxing and so much fun!
