Defeat of the USA

Brazil has defeated America. This time it is not football. America has got less votes than Brazil and Brazil has secured the responsibility to host for the 2016 Olympic games. American are sad and the Latin American country of Brazil has got reasons to rejoice.

I have to wonder if we Americans really wanted to have Chicago host the Olympics.  Could this really be a blessing in disguise for us?  And for Obama to go overseas to plead his case when there are more pressing issues at home???  Misguided priorities if you ask me.
