Bad Hair Day

My hair is impossible.  Seriously, it's the poofiest hair imaginable.  I am sick to death of it and desperate for something that will help keep it in place.  Does anyone know of any gels or creams that are effective for thick, wavy, extremely poofy hair?

My hair is very much the same as yours and the best product I have ever found is L'oreal The Feel smoothing gel. Have you considered having your hair thinned? I have not done this yet but my stylist keeps recomending it.
