Happy Transfer Day, everyone!
On March 31st, 1917, the Danish West Indies, a group of 3 islands and various outerlying keys were transferred from Danish possession to the USA (mostly for military advantage). St. Thomas, St. John, St. Croix, and now Water Island (recently recognized as the offcial fourth Virgin Island) are now known as "America's Paradise" and are home to over 100,000 proud Caribbean-Americans.
